Brandy are un contract nou cu RCA Records (Alicia Keys, Kings of Leon, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake) si pregateste cel de-al saselea album din cariera, pentru care are planuri mari alaturi de oameni care stiu ce fac.

Dupa ce a plecat de la Epic Records in 2009, cantareata a semnat acum cateva zile noul contract cu RCA si este foarte incantata: “This is truly a blessing… Breyon Prescott, Peter Edge and Tom Corson [RCA Music Group’s president and chief operating officer] believe in me and have introduced me to a home that also believes and knows exactly what to do with the type of music I’m doing. Breyon and the team at RCA/Chameleon are creative and forward-thinking and I am thrilled to be working with them.”

Cateva piese de pe albumul care va fi lansat la inceputul lui 2012 sunt deja gata. Brandy lucreaza de Rico Love, cel din mainile caruia a iesit piesa “Motivation” a lui Kelly Rowland.

Ea vrea ca noul album sa fie cu muzica adevarata, ca pe vremuri si sa readuca in atentia ascultarilor acel R&B clasic de care avem cu totii nevoie:

Rico Love a declarat ca alaturi de el si Chris Brown si Frank Ocean vor ajuta la crearea acestui album. “”I’m excited about the records I’ve done with her so far. I think we need to make it classic, just the music that people love. I just believe in a strong melody and a strong concept, that’s what I’m going for, just classic R&B.Great concepts, great vocals.”
“I push her to the limit vocally, same way I push Mary, same way I push Usher, same way I push Mario, Kelly. I just push people. If I know how great they can sing, I’m gonna push them that much harder. It’s like a coach who has the best player, you just want to make sure you run him to death in practice, so that they can perform to the best of their ability when it’s game time.”
