Nu de mult va aduceam in atentie o formatie din America numita Far East Movement. Se pare ca cei patru au dat lovitura: single-ul “Like A G6″ a ajuns pe primul loc in Billboard Hot 100 si baietii l-au cooptat pe Ryan Tedder (frontman-ul de la One Republic) pentru noua lor piesa intitulata “Rocketeer” extrasa de pe albumul “Free Wired“.
“This track is reppin the day n nite dreamers that do anything for who they love. We got the chance to write the treatment for this music video and blessed to link up with an ill director named Marc Klasfeld to make it come to life. We wanted to take yall on a skate thru the Free Wired Downtown LA we livin in that inspires us daily, so the whole video was shot outside our cribs, the art galleries n cafes we chill at, where we grub, where we party and its filled with different dreamers we know around the way that make up a free wired LA… ” au declarat membrii grupului.
